Description
The Zip Back Boot has its fastening at the rear — a single zip running up the back of the shaft, leaving the front face entirely uninterrupted. Fitted with a negative wedge heel and a blanket-stitched vamp seam. Blake stitch construction, all-leather sole, insole, heel, lining, and stiffeners.
Cobalt blue stain yak on the Zip Back Boot — yak leather with a deep cobalt blue applied as a stain rather than a pigment coat. The yak grain absorbs the colour unevenly, giving the surface a depth and tonal variation that a more uniform leather would flatten. The negative wedge heel shifts the weight of the foot forward, changing the posture of the wearer subtly but perceptibly.
