A last is the foundation of every shoe we make. It determines the silhouette, the fit, and — more than any single decision in the process — whether a shoe will be worn with ease or set aside after a day.
We work with four principal ready-to-wear lasts, each developed to address a distinct foot shape while preserving the restrained, considered profile that defines our collection. Understanding your last is the first step toward a shoe that genuinely fits.
Below we have our four main ready-to-wear lasts, which we use throughout our collection. Each last has its unique shape and fitting characteristics.
Last 1708 — Standard Fit
Our benchmark last. Last 1708 is built around a close-fitting heel with a clean, elongated profile — formal in character, easy in wear. If you carry a low arch or a shorter heel, this is the last that will hold you precisely where it should.

Our widest ready-to-wear last. Last 5239 is designed for the foot that needs more room across the forefoot without sacrificing line. A classic almond toe keeps the shape refined; a generous toe box ensures the foot is never compressed through the day.

Last 5237 — Wide Fit, Tapered Toe
A wide fit last with an elegant, tapered pointed toe — for the foot that is broad across the ball but prefers a longer, leaner silhouette. Last 5237 holds the heel firmly while opening into a wide forefoot, resolving a fit problem the industry rarely addresses well.
