Description
The Roman Sandal takes its name from the strapping system — multiple leather bands crossing the foot and ankle in the manner of classical sandal construction. A shoe that is open in form and resolved in execution. Blake stitch construction, all-leather sole, insole, heel, and stiffeners.
Chocolate mustang horse leather on the Roman Sandal — equine hide from the mustang in a warm, deep brown. Horse leather's open grain and lighter weight make it well suited to the multiple-strap construction of the Roman Sandal, the material moving with the foot without the stiffness of a heavier hide.
