The Derby Boot is a clean ankle-height derby with an open lacing system — the quarters sewn on top of the vamp, accommodating a wider range of foot shapes while maintaining the structured profile of a formal boot. Handcrafted at the Andrew McDonald workshop in The Strand Arcade, Sydney.
Brown mustang horse leather on the Derby Boot — equine hide from the mustang in a warm, earthy brown. Horse leather has a distinctive open grain and surface character that bovine hides do not replicate, developing a burnished, individual patina with every season of wear.
