Petrolio horse stain on the Half Boot — equine leather hand-stained in petrolio, a deep blue-green that shifts between teal and near-black depending on the light. The stain penetrates the natural grain of the horse leather rather than coating it, preserving the surface character while adding a colour of unusual depth.
