Description
The Asymmetric Derby is Andrew McDonald's reinterpretation of a classic form. The offset lacing panel breaks the expected symmetry of the derby, creating a shoe that reads as considered without announcing itself. Blake stitch construction, all-leather interior.
Ink black is a black with depth — not a flat surface treatment but a colour that absorbs light differently at different angles. In smooth calf it reads as formal without effort; the asymmetric panel provides the only visual disruption. A shoe that earns its place in the most serious rotation.
