Description
The Asymmetric Derby is a considered reinterpretation of the derby form — the lacing panel offset from centre, breaking the expected symmetry of the shoe without announcing the departure. Blake stitch construction, all-leather sole, insole, and lining.
Iron filing stain cordovan on the Asymmetric Derby — shell cordovan finished with an iron filing stain that produces a dark, slightly metallic grey-black surface. The stain is absorbed into the hide rather than applied as a coat, leaving the cordovan's distinctive grain and anti-crease properties intact.
