Description
The Asym Derby Boot is a considered departure from convention — a derby silhouette carried into boot height, with an asymmetric detail that rewards a second look without demanding one.
The upper is cut from marine shell cordovan, a dense, close-grained leather taken from the fibrous flat muscle beneath the rump of the horse. Its cool, blue-toned depth develops a burnished patina with wear, and its inherent resistance to creasing means it holds its form long after other leathers have softened into memory. Shell cordovan is finished by hand, and marine reads differently in every light — at once slate and midnight, shifting as the surface flexes.
