Description
The Asym Derby Boot is a study in deliberate contrast, a dress boot silhouette interrupted by an asymmetric derby lacing that sits slightly off-centre, giving the form an edge that rewards a second look.
Made from dirty petrolio horse leather, the hide carries a deep teal-green ground with a mottled, broken surface that develops further with wear. Horse leather — drawn from the hindquarter is denser and more tightly grained than calf, resisting scuffs while gradually conforming to the foot. The colour reads differently in changing light: almost olive in shadow, unmistakably green in full sun.
