Description
The Asym Derby Boot is a working boot with a considered edge — asymmetric in construction, resolute in character, and built to settle into years of wear.
The upper is cut from black-stained brown frisone horse, a dense, tightly grained leather with a subtle two-tone depth that emerges as the black surface yields to the warm brown beneath. It marks and softens with time in a way that rewards rather than frustrates.
Constructed with a Blake-stitched sole at Andrew McDonald's workshop in The Strand Arcade, Sydney, the boot is finished with an all-leather oak bark-tanned sole, lining, double sole, heels, and stiffeners — materials chosen for their density and longevity.
