Description
A clean-lined zip sided boot with an ease of entry that never compromises the integrity of the silhouette. The side zip sits flush and purposeful, letting the boot's quiet form speak for itself.
The upper is cut from washed horse leather in grigio — a soft, ash-inflected grey that carries a subtly distressed, broken-in finish straight from new. Washed horse has a supple hand and a surface that deepens and shifts with wear, developing a patina that is entirely its own over time.
Blake stitched to an all-leather sole, with a leather insole, heel, and full leather lining throughout. The multicoloured YKK brass teeth zip adds a considered detail without interrupting the boot's restrained line. Made individually at Andrew McDonald's workshop at The Strand Arcade, Sydney. A rubber top piece can be added to the leather sole for an additional $70.
