Description
A clean ankle boot with an upright silhouette and quiet authority — the Half Boot sits close to the foot without constraint, suited equally to a suit or an unlined trouser.
The upper is cut from petrolio horse leather: a deep teal-tinged navy with a smooth, close-grained finish that deepens and acquires a subtle burnish with wear. Horse leather is notably dense and resilient, holding its form well across years of use.
Blake stitched through a full leather sole, with a leather insole and leather lining throughout. Made to order at Andrew McDonald's workshop in The Strand Arcade, Sydney.
