Description
The Zig Zag Shoe takes the zig zag sandal strapping concept and closes it into a full low shoe — the zig zag pattern of the upper becoming the structure of the shoe rather than a decorative overlay. Finished with a negative wedge sole. Handcrafted at the Andrew McDonald workshop in The Strand Arcade, Sydney.
Black calf on the Zig Zag Shoe — smooth Italian calfskin in a deep, even black. The zig zag construction in black calf produces a shoe that reads as avant-garde in silhouette and resolved in material — the negative wedge sole adding a further ergonomic and visual dimension to a form already doing something distinctive.
