Description
The Foldover Shoe is Andrew McDonald's signature design — a form that sits between an oxford and a loafer, with the upper folding back at the throat to create a distinctive horizontal line across the vamp. It asks something of the person wearing it: a willingness to be looked at. The construction is Blake stitch throughout, with all-leather interior for comfort that improves with wear.
Chocolate yak is a warm, mid-brown that lets the natural texture of the hide do the work. Yak's dense, pronounced grain creates a surface that improves with wear — the raised areas catch the light while the hollows deepen. A shoe that looks better the more you put it on.
