Description
The Derby — open lacing, clean lines, no concessions to trend. Andrew McDonald's version is built on lasts designed for genuine comfort and longevity, with Blake stitch sole construction and all-leather interior. A shoe that earns its place in the rotation by getting out of the way and letting the leather do the work.
Seaweed cordovan sits in the deep blue-green spectrum — the colour of the ocean at depth, dense and complex. This upper has been dip-dyed in potato starch, a traditional technique that creates surface variation across the hide as the starch resists the dye unevenly, producing depth and movement that uniform dyeing cannot replicate. Shell cordovan's non-porous grain holds the result with extraordinary permanence.
