Description
The Foldover Shoe is Andrew McDonald's signature design — a form that sits between an oxford and a loafer, with the upper folding back at the throat to create a distinctive horizontal line across the vamp. It asks something of the person wearing it: a willingness to be looked at. The construction is Blake stitch throughout, with all-leather interior for comfort that improves with wear.
Red crazed cordovan is shell cordovan that has been worked to develop a network of fine surface cracks — not damage, but character. The red beneath gives warmth; the crazing gives depth. No two pairs are identical.
