Description
The Asymmetric Derby Boot carries Andrew McDonald's signature offset lacing to ankle height — the displaced panel reading as a structural statement rather than ornament, the silhouette clean and quietly distinctive.
The leather is raw culatta, the dense, tight-grained rump section of the hide, dip-dyed in charcoal. The dyeing process produces a gradient that moves from deep grey-black at the immersed end toward the pale, undyed surface of the culatta at the other end — no two pairs are identical, and the fade continues to shift and deepen as the leather wears over time.
