Description
The Straparound Boot is a considered silhouette — a clean ankle boot defined by a single wrapping strap that moves around the last without interruption, giving the boot its quiet, architectural presence.
The upper is cut from bleached frisone horse, a firm, close-grained leather with a pale, chalky finish that softens gradually with wear. Frisone horse holds its structure well and develops a particular depth of character over time, picking up subtle tonal variation across the toe and strap as it breaks in.
Blake stitched to an all-leather sole with leather insole, heel, lining, and stiffeners throughout, this boot is made entirely in-house at The Strand Arcade in Sydney. A rubber top piece can be added to the leather sole for an additional $70.
