Description
A half boot of quiet authority — close-cut and unfussy, with a silhouette that sits equally well beneath a suit or worn alone on a cold Sydney morning.
The upper is shell cordovan in burgundy, cut from the firm, non-porous shell of the horse's hindquarter. Cordovan's tight fibre structure resists creasing in the way calf cannot, developing instead a deep, rolling lustre with wear. This burgundy sits in the richer end of the spectrum — closer to oxblood in certain light — and will only deepen over years of use. Lining, insole, heel, and stiffeners are all leather throughout.
