Description
The Foldover Shoe is Andrew McDonald's signature design — a form that sits between an oxford and a loafer, with the upper folding back at the throat to create a distinctive horizontal line across the vamp. It asks something of the person wearing it: a willingness to be looked at. The construction is Blake stitch throughout, with all-leather interior for comfort that improves with wear.
Tie-dye on leather uses resist techniques to create a pattern that no two pairs share. The mud palette — earth tones, ochres, deep browns — gives this version a textural, natural quality that is very different from uniform dyeing. Each shoe is genuinely unique.
