Description
The Foldover Shoe is Andrew McDonald's signature design — a form that sits between an oxford and a loafer, with the upper folding back at the throat to create a distinctive horizontal line across the vamp. It asks something of the person wearing it: a willingness to be looked at. The construction is Blake stitch throughout, with all-leather interior for comfort that improves with wear.
Bison leather carries a wide, natural grain that is unlike anything in the calf or cordovan family. Stained rather than dyed, the colour sits on top of the grain rather than within it — creating a surface that reads differently depending on the angle of the light.
