Description
The Fogey boot is a substantial, purposeful silhouette — a dress boot with enough weight and structure to hold its own across decades of wear.
Upper and counter are cut from petrolio horse leather, a deep teal-black hide with a smooth, close-grained surface that develops a rich, burnished patina over time. Horse leather carries a natural density that resists scuffing and moulds gradually to the foot, rewarding long acquaintance.
Blake stitched to a double leather sole, the construction keeps the profile lean underfoot while maintaining the integrity expected of a boot made in the Andrew McDonald workshop at The Strand Arcade, Sydney. A rubber top piece can be added to the sole for $88 to extend wear on wet pavements.
