Description
The Fogey Boot extends Andrew McDonald's original named style into a low boot — retaining the characteristic silhouette while adding the ankle support and weather resistance of a boot. Handcrafted at the Sydney workshop with Blake stitch construction.
Iron filing staining on culatta produces deep, uneven darks — the chemical reaction between the oxidised iron and the leather's tannins creates a surface that looks geological rather than dyed. Applied to culatta's dense grain, the effect is concentrated and complex.
