Or du Sérail — golden tobacco. The third chapter in Naomi Goodsir's material-driven collection, created with perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour and introduced at Esxence Milan.
Where Bois d'Ascèse reaches for smoke and ceremony, Or du Sérail reaches for pleasure. It opens with mango, red berries, and sweet orange — vivid, almost edible — before rum, coconut, and clary sage draw everything inward. The heart is warm and complex: ylang-ylang, mate, and artemisia weave around a tobacco core that never announces itself but is always present.
The base is the reward: honey, beeswax, vanilla, labdanum, and cedar — a slow, resinous drydown that deepens for hours on the skin. Powerhouse longevity. The kind of fragrance that earns a second look across a room.
