Description
The Derby Boot in reverse cordovan stain occupies a particular place in the wardrobe — formal enough for the office, substantial enough for the street, and shaped with a quiet confidence that needs no elaboration.
The upper is finished in a reverse cordovan stain, a technique that works against the shell's natural grain to draw out a deep, burnished colour with subtle tonal variation. Shell cordovan is dense, non-porous, and slow to crease; over time it develops a patina that grows richer rather than tired. The chestnut-tanned double sole, insole, heel, lining, and stiffeners are all leather throughout — no shortcuts, no composite fillers.
