A Postcard from Lisbon

There's something about Lisbon that gets under your skin. The cracked azulejo walls, the cobblestones worn smooth by generations of footsteps, the light that falls in the late afternoon like it has nowhere else to be. It felt like the right place to begin filming a story about the life of a shoemaker. A man who spends his days making things for other people to walk quietly, carefully, feel and see the city .  This is an excerpt from a film we are making about the shoemakers life.
