Last guide

A last must carry all of the aesthetics and fitting qualities a shoemaker needs from the outset. We have a diverse selection of lasts to suit a wide variety of foot shapes. 

Below we have our four main ready-to-wear lasts, which we use throughout our collection. Each last has its unique shape and fitting characteristics.

Last: 1708 

This is our standard fit last. 

• Close fitting last, particularly at the heel, ensures optimum heel lock for those who have a low arch or short heel.
  
• Elegant, timeless profile.

• This feature adds to its formal appeal, making it the perfect companion for suits, tuxedos, and dress trousers.

Last: 5239 

This is our widest fit RTW last.

• Elegant, timeless profile.  
• This is our widest fit RTW last. Equivalent to EE or G.
•  Suits a high arch with a wide toe box for all day comfort.
• Classic timeless almond toe shape designed for formal wear and business.
• Styles: Clarence ,Nico Serge, Mittagong.

Wide fit last with a tapered pointed toe.

• Fits wide at the joint where toes join the foot. Elegant tapered toe shape. Equivalent to an E fitting. 
• The heel area ensures optimum heel capture.

• Last 7577. 

Wide and deep in the toe box 

• Wide and deep at toe box equivalent to a of G fitting. 
• based on a military boot fit for all day comfort whilst standing.
