Description
The Foldover Shoe is Andrew McDonald's signature design — a form that sits between an oxford and a loafer, with the upper folding back at the throat to create a distinctive horizontal line across the vamp. It asks something of the person wearing it: a willingness to be looked at. The construction is Blake stitch throughout, with all-leather interior for comfort that improves with wear.
Petrolio is a deep, oil-slicked teal — the colour of deep water or old patinated copper. In horse leather, it carries an evenness and density that calf cannot match. A colour that reveals itself slowly, depending on the light.
