Description
The Arthur is one of those shoes that solves a problem most people have stopped trying to solve. Wide fit footwear has long been the domain of the purely functional — shoes that accommodate the foot but make no demands of the eye. The Arthur does both.
Hand-stained burgundy calf develops a surface quality unique to each pair — the colour shifts across the upper as the dye settles into the leather's natural variations, producing something that cannot be replicated by machine finishing. Built on last 5239 with an almond toe, the wide fit construction gives the foot the room it needs without widening the silhouette into compromise. Made at the Andrew McDonald workshop in Sydney.
