In 2013 A.McDonald relocate to The Strand Arcade (Sydney city centre) in order to align his brand with Australia’s leading bespoke boutique retailers and craftspeople. His ever-popular shoemaking course will continue at this location.
Founded on Andrew’s craftsmanship and design exploration, Andrew has accrued a team of dedicated shoemakers who are at the forefront of footwear and accessories design.
On his return to Sydney, Andrew opened a shop/workshop in William St Paddington, where he traded as A McDonald Shoemaker for 16 years.
A.McDonald Shoemaker makes quality footwear and accessories, either custom made or ready-to-wear. A.McDonald workshop produces two seasonal ready-to-wear ranges annually, exporting his collections to select retail boutiques globally.
His clientele are design-aware individuals who appreciate sustainably made, unique, handcrafted products that transcend the vicissitudes of time.
