We are fortunate to be in partnership with Noriakisakamoto founder of Iolom in Japan who hand make Buckles for our bags and belts. Their handmade production is without compromise, the whole process of creation: choosing the material to finishing is meticulously executed by the designer, which leaves traces of hand on each work, creating a delicate and effortless impression as well as intricate object-like appearance.

Drawing inspiration from his extensive research into various materials and shapes, Sakamoto approaches designing with an experimental attitude. Brass, in particular, has been featured constantly in his creation in which it’s treated and finished numerous different ways to create a distinctive appearance.
